Jon26
There is the castle half way down twentywell lane on the left hand side. The food is usually good and it seems popular with those having a drink. Not sure if the old mother redcap is still open. Close to bradway is the Angel at holmesfield which has great food and good beer.

Andy C
There are two pubs in Bradway: Old Mother Redcap - owned by Samuel Smiths brewery, a community local, as with all Sam Smiths pubs its all own brand drinks at very reasonable prices, no TV, music etc but comfortable. Darts board. Castle Inn - more of a gastropub, most of pub is restaurant and the food is very good, also has a small tap room for drinkers with three real ales on the bar plus all the usual brands. Has beer garden at rear where outside bar and BBQ opens in the summer at weekends. Near Bradway: Shepley Spitfire, Mickley Lane, Totley Rise Community local owned by Greene King Brewery, their beers plus guests and usual brands on bar, pool table, sports on TV, food served. Has beer garden at rear that is family friendly. Also not too far away there are a couple of pubs in Dore village and 3 more in Totley, the M17 bus runs there in the daytime otherwise its a taxi ride, also a short taxi ride away (there is no bus service) are a number of good pubs in Dronfield. I tend generally to jump on a 24/25 bus to Heeley or Sheffield Centre to drink mostly.

jemson
It is a shame that the whole area is pretty poor for pubs as is Woodseats. I tend to go to Heeley or Dronfield for a decent pint.
