  1. Anyone know about takeaways and stuff? I know plenty are open but how safe is it? What are the chances of transmission via food. Genuine question.
  2. Ouch Waldo. I think that more people are actively using their time to get some exercise but I don`t agree with doing extra; I`m doing a bit for my health but staying in as much as possible. And I really am not sure about cycling.
  3. Agree. The most beautiful of pubs,
  4. I have an old watch and wondered if anyone could recommend a suitable specialist place that might be able to value it please?
  5. Shame. Nice venue and I`ve seen some great bands there.
  6. good work. I`ll be watching , I suspect. my form is pretty sketchy but OH is entered.
  7. Isn`t a lot of the weight of the rating heavily to doing the correct paperwork at the correct time and having it available for scrutiny more than cleanliness?
  8. Heard same. Might be focussed on boxing but also other stuff too, hopefully!
  9. Popped in on Saturday. They`d obviously rushed (understandably) to get open, Not quite finished but décor is very fashionable but drinks selections very liomited at the mo.
  10. Yeah, was busy on Saturday. Beer pretty good and nice inside with friendly staff.
  11. Hi, Striders do run at Millhouses, as you say, and also at Heeley, I think. They`re a very big club that seem to cater for all abilities. Also Up and Running in Town do a social run evry Monday I believe and they will be able to offer good advice.
  12. I`ve seen it but not been in. I`m down in that direction on Saturday with the OH so I might have a look.
  13. Ambulo is part of the Rockingham group , I think - those 2 plus Pic House Social , Gatsby and PUBLIC. We also had a negative experience at the Wetson Park Ambulo and emailed the company.
  14. Yeah, can be a bit like that at Beer Engine but then there are keg lines too that will keep for a lot longer; a bit trickier juggling cask and keeping it at its best.
  15. It is. A great way to get them started imho
  16. ok. more beer? never been in but OH likes it. I wonder how well HH is doing and what the rent at Kommune is like. Must be tough to work in there 6 days a week.
  17. Yeah, great effort and well done on getting 5 x 20 milers done.
  18. Agree . It is a great part of town for going out. Places are quality too. For me though it`s a shame Hop Hideout had to move.
  19. Yes! When it first became The Devonshire, some said that it`d be confused with the Dev Cat which I thought was daft and improbable. But then I was in the Dev Cat and someone came in looking for the True North venue. Brave to change the name back and admit a mistake - ?
  20. Agree. Just what i thought. After every weekend set of matches, players are abused, usually via social media and usually on a racial basis. The situation in our country politically has made this appear acceptable to some; if Boris can call them, why can`t I? etc
  21. Good stuff. I`d also recommend The Forum for a brunch or breakfast.
