Anyways, thanks for advice. Eventually plucked up the courage to scatter / dump ashes in a nice bush near the Botanical Gardens fountain. Felt a bit naughty and, even at 8.30am there were people about, but a releif to get it done. Nice resting place hopefully. Peace

I had an email from a public park representative saying that they `discourage` ashes being spread there. Anyone any experience of this ? And, ideally, I`d like a tree planted or similar, SW Sheffield. 😞

Anyone know about takeaways and stuff? I know plenty are open but how safe is it? What are the chances of transmission via food. Genuine question.

Ouch Waldo. I think that more people are actively using their time to get some exercise but I don`t agree with doing extra; I`m doing a bit for my health but staying in as much as possible. And I really am not sure about cycling.

Hi, Striders do run at Millhouses, as you say, and also at Heeley, I think. They`re a very big club that seem to cater for all abilities. Also Up and Running in Town do a social run evry Monday I believe and they will be able to offer good advice.

I`ve seen it but not been in. I`m down in that direction on Saturday with the OH so I might have a look.

Ambulo is part of the Rockingham group , I think - those 2 plus Pic House Social , Gatsby and PUBLIC. We also had a negative experience at the Wetson Park Ambulo and emailed the company.

Yeah, can be a bit like that at Beer Engine but then there are keg lines too that will keep for a lot longer; a bit trickier juggling cask and keeping it at its best.
