Penistone999
After a bit of advice as to what car to get for about £3k which will cope with Sheffields pot-holes and speed bumps best! My 12 year old Corsa needs new springs every year even though I'm no speedster - not after a 4 by 4 looking for something Focus sized - any experiences of goodies or baddies appreciated Even a Challenger Tank would struggle with Sheffield`s potholes. Starlc
Most new cars are rubbish and will be lucky to last 10 years. I personally hate newer vehicles and only have a new golf because my partner wanted one, for me the best vehicles were built between 1982 and 1996 and have a few in my collection. You will probebly be better with a 4x4 of somesort but prices are up on landrover etc as all the chavs love them ! carosio
A Moskvitch, designed to cope with poor Russian roads. A friend had a Citroen C3 and I noticed that this had a very soft ride compared with other cars I'd been in.
ANGELFIRE1
Abrams Tank, a tough Tank made by the Yanks. On a serious note, Volvo's are pretty good at lasting the course, tough as they come. Angel1.
