Poor migrants from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan

Don't these questions about whether they are valid refugees or not just make people wonder if the processing of asylum seekers is working or not? Why not just let them in, process them, send them back if they fail the procedure. That is what we have as a system, that is what we should use.

Correct - but even if we process them, find out their claim is bogus we still don't send them back quick enough, if at all.

Exactly, which is why this whole Calais situation is just a farce. It is brilliant for Cameron, it gives him something to show he is 'tough' on immigration whilst doing absolutely nothing to fix the issue. But who cares, our Farage-whipped nationalist brigade can use it to froth and foam and bring the general populace in line.

they are waiting days for a temp visa in some cases - the system is inefficient.

Agree about Cameron. But what you say about Cameron goes for the EU, in spades.

What is their proposed solution to this crisis? Because I haven't heard anything apart from them planning to share out the "migrants" among EU countries.

We need a Europe wide solution to stop them getting into the EU in the first place, but the EU seems to have no intention of implementing one.

And btw, I think there will be a few Germans "frothing and foaming" if the predicted 750,000 "migrants" pitch up there, as the German authorities are predicting.

Utter tosh.

Who are these dirty people and what morals are you claiming they don't have?

Who are these people that hate us and want to do us harm?

Where have you been for the past 10 years? With your head up your own backside?
