If UK leaves Europe … a warning??

A European political figure is saying “ if political leaders do not tell the people of the UK the facts in advance of the planned in/out referendum, many will vote to leave, unaware of the devastating consequences.

 

.. the ability of British people to travel as freely as they do now, and to work and buy homes in other EU countries, would also be lost, and that UK businesses would suddenly face new problems, …….

 

So .. …

Is UK really better out of …,

Do we really know the costs …,

do we know the facts????

Some think not!

British people travel freely out side Europe and buy properties that are not in Europe, so how will leaving the EU stop this.

If leaving stops the British buying foreign property, which it won't, it would also stop foreigners buying homes in Britain and that wouldn't be a bad thing.

I think it is referring to Joschka Fischer, former Foreign Secretary of Germany and the man that founded the foreign policy for the EU.

 

He is right, the discourse on the topic is in need of a major boost. I am beginning to notice more and more noise about it though, and that will ramp up tenfold before the referendum. By the time the referendum comes the majority of people will understand that the sort of statement loraward is making here is the sort of simplistic view that doesn't cut the mustard.

There is nothing wrong with the statement, other than that it is a completely oversimplified view of what Europe is about. As you are well aware, one hopes.

It will ramp up because there is no doubt that core Tory policy is to stay in the EU. That policy aligns fully with the requirements of big business which is a grouping that does not want to see us leave the EU. It also aligns with US foreign policy that is for us to stay in the EU.

 

The Tories will not take us out. The biggest risk is not to us as a country but to the unity of the Tory party. That said love em or loathe em the Tories know how to nail a referendum and they'll do it. No probs.

Some think not!

People who have bought homes in Spain have often found that their homes have to be demolished due to the Spanish not caring wether proper proceedings have been followed.

The E.U. have not helped these people who have lost every thing . So much for buying homes in the Union eh!
