Where is the best place to get wood for a log burner?

Recommended Posts

Hello All!

In the process of gutting a house and have tonnes of wood (joists, planks, fences, floor boards, decking, celing struts etc). Let me know if anyone needs any for their woodburners or for bonfires. Collection from Woodseats road.

Cheers...

Would like to take any joists, planks, floorboards and decking off your hands, if it would be suitable to do a repair job on allotment greenhouse floor.

Thanks Bec.

It is getting cheaper to burn wood than gas again. I don't have a wood burner but used to cut wood in my grandmothers forest many years ago. She had a fancy fireplace in the house, it looked cool and added to the atmosphere.

Now you save money going back to burning wood.

Your grandmother has a forest?

My,what big eyes she has!

Who are you,Red Riding Hood?
