  1. Look at http://www.meetup.com/ There is lots of groups you can go to from cycling, taxidermy, speaking French, Yoga, drinking and even trekking in the alps. Enjoy!!!
  2. Get a valuation from an agent to give you an idea then do one of the below: 1. Stick with an agent if you feel confident with if timescales permit (this will get you the best price and they have contacts who can move quickly). 2. Sell at auction and get roughly 20% less than via an agent 3. Sell via a specialist agent who deal with quick sales such as (http://www.getanoffer.com), also roughly 20% less 4. Go for an investor or builder (up to 40% less for a quick sale) Good luck w ps The Legal side is a red herring as you will always have to have one to do deed transfers etc
  3. What happened before he made the gesture? I mean did he react to them throwing things? Or did they throw things after? Were they also cheering that a person has been injured and hurt? Cheers
  4. Hello All! Thinking of converting a house into two flats. Anyone been through the same exercise? Do I need drawings for planning permissions? If so, do I need an architect, draughtsman or could I do them myself? Any advice appreciated. Cheers, JPFQ ps Any literature recommendations?

  11. Tell your friend that he / she SHOULD NOT enter into communications with the company. Just ignore the ticket. Once you get in touch they will just keep pestering.. p.s Also tell them if they get away with it then they should donate £10 or £20 pounds to a worthwhile charity for being being such a lazy sod. Good luck...
  12. Unfortunately I have to agree with the other chap. I used to love the place as it had great food and amazing wine including ones from Lebanon but over the last couple of years it has gone down the pan. Shame...

  17. Depends on you as a person. Do you want to follow the crowd? If so get the IP4, amazing and prob the best. Or buck the trend? If so, get a desire or desire z (with keyboard). I went with desire z as all the kids have i phones and every man and his hound. Good luck with your choice..

  22. I moved back to Sheffield recently and use taxis a fair bit (twice daily). They all seem to have **** cars, talk cack at 5am to you, smoke, complain about life and petrol costs or hock up a greeny outside your house when they pick you up! Not good. Anyone know of any companies that have good cars and professional drivers (don't mind paying more as I expense the costs)??
  23. prestige 1,000. Here we go... Go into Waitrose and ask for the following wine, you my friend will thanks me. Would appreciate your thoughts after you finish the bottle. Chateau Musar - around £18 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ch%C3%A2teau_Musar Despite the fighting between arabs (Hezbollah) and Jews (IDF etc) this wines continues to be produced and all forces appreciate what Serge Hochar has done with his vineyards.
