boyfriday   21 #25 Posted August 1, 2013 This is the first I've heard of Yorkshire Day, mainly I guess, as nothing ever seems to be organised to celebrate all things Yorkshire. Does anyone actually celebrate this day?  There really should be a South Yorkshire Day
 Share this content via...

Andy C Â Â 86 #27 Posted August 1, 2013 As someone who lives in a part of the city that used to be in Derbyshire can't say Yorkshire day interests me. Â However it is also world IPA day..... a day to celebrate strong, hoppy ales...
 Share this content via...
dosxuk   10 #28 Posted August 1, 2013 Free live music for example. It doesn't cost any extra for a person to attend a free music concert in a field.  For anything other than a handful of people, it does cost money to put on live music.  And that's even when you ignore the fact that the musician(s) need to buy instruments / buy food / drink / shelter themselves and presume they're doing it for the love. andyofborg   11 #36 Posted August 1, 2013 Yes- maybe on 31 March annually, commemorating the 1985 abolition of SYCC?  or how about the day the revolution started which resulted in independance from the westminster parasites and the founding of the socialist republic of south yorkshire?
