chem1st
In some countries, playing BINGO without a license is illegal. http://metro.co.uk/2013/06/24/britons-arrested-for-playing-bingo-in-portugal-3853414/ A group of Britons playing bingo in a bar have been arrested in Portugal after police suspected them of breaking strict anti-gambling laws. Around 30 holidaymakers and expats were questioned overnight even though the first prize was only a tin of biscuits and a bar of chocolate. Officers confiscated the biscuits from the 74-year-old winner though the chocolate managed to evade capture. Some are due in court following the raid on the Yorkshire Tavern in Albufeira, on the Algarve, which came after an undercover investigation. Officers first posed as customers to mingle with the suspects, aged from 23 to 76, The Sun reported. As the prizes were handed out they pounced with two detectives flashing police badges and using radios to called in a dozen uniformed officers. Even those not playing bingo were arrested for ‘observing a crime’ as they watched a rugby league match in the bar. Pub landlady Marianne Pittaway, 34, said: ‘They rounded us all up like a bunch of gangsters at about 11pm. It was 3am by the time they let us all go.’ Bingo, would you risk it for a biscuit? jane2008
Had to vote full house just because you put it there. I wouldn't risk it if I knew it was against the law

Mr Bloom
It's a pity the Portuguese police weren't as efficient after Maddie McCann went missing.
Daid
It's a pity the Portuguese police weren't as efficient after Maddie McCann went missing. Taking biscuits from a 74 year old is hardly efficient police work and they were already on the premises.
