Preferred its original name. The new one sounds contrived.

Hope it's still got the 1970s George and Mildred wallpaper. Please don't tell me that's gone! And is the average age of the client still 74?

Joking aside, nice food, decent service. Despite the 'museum' feel....,

Yep, the old name sounds much posher.

The new name sounds like an email address. That'll befuddle their customer base who are only just getting used to Biros....,

They have run a very good business for a long time, I suppose they thought it was time for an update. I hope it is a good move for such a lovely couple. Good luck:)

what a cheesy name! with a name like that it sounds very pretentious, like [email protected] but he can actually cook, if its anything like the old dore grill stuck in the 6os/70s then it wont last long

Yes, because it only lasted 25 years last time!

Agreed, went there a year ago for a family birthday the food was terrible, for what we paid. No resturant should serve frozen fruit. Awful

Went there in March, the food wasn't great, one main course was taken off the bill.

Okay if you're drawing your pension.
