al_partridge   10 #13 Posted March 20, 2009 who cares what the sponser logo looks like mate -its for a brilliant cause ,thats all that matters  Like I said, I've no qualms at all with the charity, what I don't like is the fact that they've plastered a large teddy bear in the middle of our shirt, and that's going to put quite a few people (adults anyway) off buying it. It looked alright before when they just had the name of the charity with a little bear next to it, but now the teddy is the focal point of the shirt.  I'll get one for my toddler no problem, but I can't see me buying myself one this year. I refused to buy the Chupa Chups shirt as well.
 Share this content via...

F. Sidebottom   10 #16 Posted March 20, 2009 A- that sponsor logo looks terrible B- i just HAVE to laugh at the **** poor attempt at computer graphics- what are they using in S6 - an amega 500?  You kids today.  It was Amiga 500 not Amega.  Next you'll be spelling C5 wrong. CorkerSWFC Â Â 10 #18 Posted March 20, 2009 I think its a nice kit me the logo isnt that big on it you cant even see it properly on a footy pitch i bet. I bet there isnt many on here who could name all the premiership clubs sponsors these days never mind the championships. So i don't really think it matters that much to be honest, teddy bear or not i will be purchasing one.
 Share this content via...
Stockers   10 #19 Posted March 20, 2009 Looks pony like most football kits do, i'll be happy to recieve my free Anniversary one with my season ticket but i won't be shelling out £40 notes on any footy shirt!!
 Share this content via...

sheff71   10 #21 Posted March 20, 2009 i stopped buying them years ago as they are a rip off - but it looks well  The shirt itself looks ok for an Owls shirt (though the keeper's top looks a bit rubbish), but that logo does look very poor - not exactly a good way to be advertising the SCH, being associated with such a tatty image - what would be so wrong with just having "Sheffield Children's Hospital" printed! You probably should've said "forget the shirt logo, we'll give SCH £100k NOT to have that teddy on it"  It's not the finalised version is it, surely? But at least you've sorted out the back, looked daft with the big blue back. Looks like a proper football shirt again.  Agree about buying the shirts though, think the last I got of ours was about 3 years ago... hopefully the free one will be worth wearing (not holding out much hope though)... MR BENN Â Â 10 #22 Posted March 20, 2009 yeah the back was horrible - the stripes are tradition and nice to see it sorted mate
 Share this content via...
AltyOwl   10 #23 Posted March 20, 2009 Can I just be controversial and say that the sponsor logo looks bloody awful? First time I've seen it portrayed like that. Nothing against the charity or the idea behind it whatsoever, but the logo I saw before had the wording with a little teddy bear at the side. I could have coped with that no problem, but to have a huge teddy bear as the predominant feature of the front of the shirt just looks horrid, it's worse than the Chupa-Chups logo!  You're on Owlstalk as well aren't you?? Sure I just read what you said on there.
 Share this content via...
AltyOwl   10 #24 Posted March 20, 2009 http://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=102723&st=30  Someones done a mock up version of the kit on there. It looks very good in my opinion.  Alos nice that £1 from every shirt sale goes to the Children's Hospital as well.
 Share this content via...
