You can dispose of a mattress in the bin and a 3 piece sweet. I have done both.It may take a few weeks but all you need is a hacksaw and a pair of pliers.

Hi Samantha. Just had a look at their site and it says there is a charge if your not a tenant.

Rip cover/stuffing etc off mattress and then leave spring frame/mesh out for metal collectors.

Same with settee, but then burn wooden frame:cool:

Can't find any threads about this newer than 10 years old, so thought I would start a new one.

We have a small amount of trash that needs taking to the tip. We want someone to legally take it. We'd do it ourselves, but one item is too big for us so would like someone to take the lot.

1. Long roll of green carpet (good condition if anyone needs it and can pick it up!)

2. Old electric oil-filled radiator (works but some corrosion)

3. Box of disused electrical appliances

4. A few other bits and bobs, nothing messy.

Can anyone recommend someone reliable and legal?

Thanks
