Student attacked and injured - attackers now sentenced

Recommended Posts

Just to let you all know, he is doing good and is breathing on his own etc. So fingers crossed. Think it was all caught on cctv aswell.

Thats good news Steve! I bet it's a huge relief. I hope he makes a speedy recovery. xxx

Glad to hear it, lets hope the offenders are caught and punished too.

When he is better, (and I know it might not be the best thing for me to offer), I'll stand him a pint in any pub on west street, hopefully upon conviction of the offenders, if he so wishes (or anywhere else for that matter).

According to the star the police have got a 15 and a 16 year old for this.

What are people of that age doing on west street at 2.00am.?

Charge the parents as well.

If it was up to me i'd let the lad in hospital choose their fate.

I've just read that article and that was my first thought too.

You may want to keep that sort of thing to yourself, else you'll have some idiot on here telling you off.

Well they have sent the offenders to prison for 4 and 3 years each.

The articule mentions that the student has not yet made a full recovery but is on his way to making one.

I hope it is a quick recovery and that he can be glad the offenders are behind bars for a few years at least.

No of course the assailants shouldn't be killed. That would render society as guilty of violence as they were.

Personally, I think society would be far better off if scum like this were removed - permanently. But then again you're a bleeding heart liberal who thinks one of this gruesome pair should become Prime Minister and the other the next King.

Perhaps, since you seem so keen to kill them, you should just wait till they're released from prison and go and do it yourself?
