One of our Rotties did that a few weeks ago, we took him to the vets where they bandaged it as there were unable to glue or stitch it as too much of the pad was missing, but they did give him anti-biotics and pain killers. you could always ring them and see what they say

we use wainwrights from pets at home for around £33 for 15kgs, or their complete with meaty chunks around 18 for the same amount. i cant remember how much protein etc they have in them but we always check the analysis and found that they were good

i noticed the one at woodseats had asda signs outside, so i assume we will be changing to that

if anyone has recieved a fine for over staying at the mentioned car park please check the photo evidence, i have just recieved one and both photos show me driving in when i was turning round and not driving in and then out (hope that makes sense), i am now appealing against the fine, but strangely they are not replying to my e mails!!!!!! i would check that they haven't done the same to you

it turns out that the dog is always at the pound- he has only been home since thursday. apprently the owners lets him out and he gets over her fence and then wonders around until he gets picked up and handed to them, it broke my heart when i heard. she has been told numerous times about tags etc but they reckon she may not come forward this time. it's such a shame as he is a sweet heart and have said to inform me if she does not collect him this time as we might have him back. i thought it was strange as when we got him out of the car he knew where he was going, please if it is your dog look after him or let another family have him that will as he is absolutley the most georgous dog ever.

has any one lost a black staffie type dog as one has followed us home from the top path, we have walked around and asked people for over an hour and no one has seen this dog before. it has no tag but is wearing a choker type collar and does not seem to be chipped. we have spoken to the rspca who have asked us to take him to the council pound. the rspca have my details if he is yours. he seems a lovely dog, very friendly and gets on well with my two

i was in the library a few weeks ago and overheard a worker saying that they had stopped collecting the green bags, which is typical as i have had loads recently!!!! but not heard anything about the new system

OMG i am utterly shocked, people just seem to be geting crueller

we have 2 large dogs so we soend just under 40 a month on food, about 100 a year for flea stuff and about 50 for worming tablets. then extras for treats etc. but since we have ahd them we have spent alot on playpens, roof boxes as they fill up the boot etc so i would say around the 1500-2000 mark

we go to linacre quite a bit ( during the day) and our 2 dogs love it, there is plenty of places for them to be off the lead and they love running up and down the hills.

we have just had permission to drop the kerbs and it came with a list of contractors that we must use. As there is a very big difference in price for some of them, which one has anyone used and how were they??

we use parkway secure storage, just off the parkway. it is expensive though. they have also just brought a tag out so you can get in and out during longer hours without anyone in recpetion.
