Yeh you mean Mr Ivanov - he's a consultant neurosurgeon. He's been around about 18 months I think. I don't know him personally though

It does take several car lengths for the tram to stop....most people don't realise so just walk in front of them (I'm not saying that's what happened here by the way)

Hi The shop is opposite the Punchbowl Pub at the Hillsborough end of Crookes. There are a few different charity shops on the same side.

Weston Park Cancer Charity Shop really need donations at the moment..I work there myself (when the kids are at school) The shop is situated at Crookes opposite to the Punchball Pub.

We had the same problem with Deepcar. It's a lovely place but we had nothing but grief from the neighbours which I have never encountered before or since! If we walked into a pub in Stocksbridge everyone would stop talking and stare!! We didn't find that with the Deepcar pubs though. We moved to Eckington 6 years ago and everyone couldn't be nicer.

Bilals at Eckington are very good and have a very nice restaurant too. It's on market street

I'm sure his wife used to work at Hallamshire Hospital just before I started there 19 years ago. Also, he did a cartoon on my mum who had a lot to do with the bus strike in the 70's....the star called her 'Red Izzie'! She still has a copy of the cartoon.

One of the engineers admitted that there had been an electrical fire within the machine but they still wouldn't replace it

MICHI...we have had several engineers out and they are all employed by comet so I think it is to do with comet. Each engineer seemed to contradict what the other had to say. One of the engineers even said that the original person to install it didn't do it right, causing the electrical fire.

me again..while we were in comet on Monday morning 3 other people were there to complain about them and their customer service. One bloke had brought his washing machine in the back of his car!!! hope he sorted it out!

We bought a new washing machine from them in June and they installed it. In August I came home to a burning smell and the washing machine was making a funny noise. I rang them straight away and they just told me to unplug it. I couldn't move it myself to access the plug at the back. My husband was away so I had to call a friend. They could only send someone out a week later!!!! For 4 weeks they sent engineer after engineer as different parts kept breaking down. They wouldn't replace it even though its brand new and obviously faulty. The eventually decided that we could have a new one so we chose one. (Would rather have money back but its not 'policy') Delivered yesterday but couldn't install as we had to remove a panel (fair enough) husband moved it and they came again today and now are not allowed to install it as it needs an extended pipe which the are not allowed t install. The bloke from yesterday told me that but not that they weren't allowed to install. So why did they install the original with extended pipe...guess what?..they have no record of this installation ..surprise surprise... Sorry its so long but they have really made me angry and upset...being without a washing machine with a kid is a nightmare now agggghhhhhhhhhh!

I've been passed when its not been there but not often! We are not on street view but would love to see it when it happens

There is one parked up in Bolsover..I'm assuming the person who works it lives there! I'm hoping that they will come to Eckington I find it fascinating!!!

I grew up in Hillsborough so match days were just part of life...After all these MANY years of Sheffield Wednesday playing there it seems a bit strange to complain about it now....but then maybe I haven't seen it from the other point of view! It's just accepted in Hillsborough.

I don't know anything legal about this.. Just wanted to say that's shocking! That happened to us at school when some of the girls messed up the toilets. This shouldn't happen in a workplace. Hope someone can help legally.

I think it looks amazing....It's a brilliant view when driving into the city. Mind you I wouldn't go on it..hate heights!

ohh I'm quite sad to hear they have changed hands...We used to get food from there quite often but stopped for a while trying to save money. It was the best chinese food I have had.
