  1. Sounds like a made up story. How can you say something like 'Walk a mile in my shoes before you think of condemning me' yet you have just done exactly that to homeless people. You condemn yourself, your vile previous posts show what kind of person you are.
  2. i understand, you are trying to tell everyone that you are a vile person with no empathy or compassion for other people.
  3. How long are they taking to do the lamp post upgrades? They have fitted them on most of our estate over two months ago, but left all the holes open, pavements blocked, fencing all over the place.
  4. Not only the loss of the tools, the vans are often wrecked aswell especially when the thieving scrubbers peel back the sliding doors.
  5. It was indeed a risk. Its a common crime committed by organised groups. Corsa's are one of the most popular, just google corsa cannibals.
  6. I think its pretty obvious they were driving like an idiot, its a point where you shouldnt be going more than 10mph, this point in the road has multiple potential hazzards. To do that damage they certainly were going much faster than that. My guess they were coming down Upper Albert too fast, didnt stop at the junction and lost the back end. The front wheels and car position suggest this to me. Anyone know if they got the driver? Only i didnt see anyone you would be expecting to be driving a chav'd up golf at the scene, i did see one leaving the scene.
  7. http://www.thestar.co.uk/news/car-ploughs-into-bus-shelter-in-sheffield-street-1-8176375 Passed this scene this morning just a few minutes/seconds after it had happened. Details lacking from the article (no suprise from the star). Very strange place for such forcefull crash to happen, speedbumps and roads goes to one lane, its a 20mph limit and its at a point where you would be slowing to less than that anyway due to the road layout. I pass this bus stop everyday day at the same time and normally it has atleast 5 people waiting at it and varous school children hanging around the area too. So fortunate if the article is accurate that know one was injured.
  8. Actually its dependant on if the road is a single or dual carriage way, ie if the road has a central reservation between the carriage ways travelling in the oppsoide directions.
  9. Just a few points to counter your rude, unintelligent and ignorant post. Labour didnt decrease social housing rents, if you read the post you will see it says the government has which if you keep up on politics you will realise is the Conservatives are in power. Not everyone who is in social housing are freeloaders, they are not just for people who dont work.
  10. The statistics. Also stop posting your misguided opinions as facts.
  11. Your Michelin tyres may well be ok for use in winter but they wont offer anywhere near the same grip and therefore stopping power a winter tyre will. You see winter tyres are not made just for snow, they are made from a different type of rubber that stays softer in cold conditions unlike your all season tyres that are a compromise between grip and wear life which will go hard in cold conditions and offer less grip. Heres a little link for you to read - maybe try reading it before talking more rubbish. http://www.blackcircles.com/tyres/winter-tyres/winter-tyre-myths
  12. It does look overkill but it is a forestry service road, it is an active commercial forest
  13. FTFY. If its only going to be a small retail site similar to the one on Chesterfield Road it wont have much of an impact on the traffic in the area. Norton college and leisure centre used to generate a fair amount of traffic.
  14. It is a stupid layout which contradicts other road markings. Bramhall lane roundabout has the same issue when coming from Saint Mary's Gate. The middle and right hand lanes are marked for turning right, yet the middle lane markings then run into the right hand lane of the exit, so often if you are in the right hand lane you get forced to go back around th roundabout if a car in the middle lane decides not to keep left.
  15. The 70mph sections are actually National Speed limit sections to be picky.
  16. reunited with its owner, it was microchipped.
  17. Found a golden male pug cross, running down the middle of Manor Way/Manor lane about 30-40 mins ago. Has a collar on but no tag, couldnt leave him as he was going to get runover, and know one around recognised him.. I will be taking him to the kennels before 8pm. Anyone lost one? Sorry mods i know its a repost but more people will see it here
  18. Yes councils are, as i already said in the bit you just quoted - i also said (in the same sentence) that the sites provided were not adequate. - If the sites are full how are they supposed to travel legally in the real world?
  19. You have already said in your previous posts that they should just settle like everyone else...that shows you do have a problem with their culture. They have basically made travelling and been a gypsy illegal, where are they supposed to go when the sites that legally have to be set a side for them areinadequate.
  20. Gypsy's and travellers have been around alot longer than these rules and laws. Saying they should all just settle and be like the rest of us is just akin to cultural genoside, so yes your view point is distriminating against there culture.
  21. I didnt miss the point, you said it would be tough to explain if you are driving miles and miles to an MOT station and that it would be down to the discretion of the officer. The rules are black and white on this - you can take it to any MOT station you want to, so what would there be to explain? If any officer says you cant drive it 200miles to your chosen MOT station then they are simply wrong.
  22. No it wouldn't, you are exempt from needing a valid MOT certificate. The only discretion the officer would have is if he wished to inspect the vehicle for defects, which is exactly the same even if you had a valid MOT. If defects were found you would be done for the issues found not for having no MOT.
  23. Wheres your link for the duff information you gave out? But hey hey ho heres a link, from a quick google search for you from the police, it also says it on the .gov site too. https://www.askthe.police.uk/content/Q600.htm
  24. The relevent legislation mentions nothing about distance. You can drive it to any MOT station you wish - aslong as its pre-booked. The vehicle still has to be in a road worthy condition, you can still be done if you get stopped by the police/vosa and any faults are found - which is exactly the same as if you had an MOT. No there is not.
  25. Where did i say they were so ineffective?? See there you go again making stuff up, just like you made up the details of how that poor women was killed by a dangerous driver who made no attempt to not run her over and some how declared it was her fault. The point is you declare she would still be alive if she had used the one near to her, the damn driver didnt bother to stop for a person in the road why would he stop for a little red light.
