  1. I don't need to remind people what happened when an already relegated Sheffield Wednesday travelled to Burnley in 2003 and won 7 - 2 Ipswich are an already relegated side, rock bottom with absolutely no pressure whatsoever on them United will be jittery with the pressure of knowing they could be promoted tomorrow So I predict a suprise united 1 - 5 Ipswich A wounded lion is still a dangerous lion, poking a wounded lion is never a good idea
  2. How much are the owls players on? £500 per week?
  3. Nothing to play for Players thinking of their summer breaks, dreaming about sipping sangria on a Spanish beach So a half hearted can't be bothered 0-0 bore draw
  4. If any Bristol fans are making too much noise on the tram they will be told to shut up Not putting up with rowdy singing on way to the game
  5. Bristol to turn up like educated scholars at a local working men's club 0 - 0 on 90 minutes Then Bristol to score on the 95th and 97th minutes So a 2 - 0 defeat and in effect ending all playoff hopes
  6. I posted too soon The poet's got chopped in half by the man armed with a sword
  7. Wednesday are like poets on the battlefield
  8. This could be a devastating defeat for the owls For the entire world to see
  9. It's just kids being kids We attended an environment protest back in the 90s as teens about pollution and car usage And before you ask,no we didn't use the bus to get to the protest We went down in my friends dad's Jaguar
  10. Fair enough I've not been to elland road for a few years, me and the lads used to go and rule the town and the local area about 20 years ago on that fixture. Always great fixture to see after being at school all week.
  11. Mate, you can't do that That's like supporting the Germans in April 1945 because you don't want the Russians to win the war
  12. After Saturday I believed Mr Bruce had less football knowledge than my pet gerbil But I take that back Steaming into the playoffs and beating the blades at Wembley in the final is my prediction The manager is a technical mastermind
  13. Rotherham should be out of the bottom 3 Wednesday robbed the millers of two points And Sheffield United too
  14. Glad to see the back of it If you want to watch cars whizzing past why not stand at woodall service station near junction 30 of M1?
  15. In my opinion if we remember what happened at Rotherham,we got equaliser 8 minutes into injury time when we didn't deserve a draw Perhaps this is god's way of righting an injustice Especially when you consider Rotherham won today
  16. Some of the villa fans were quite obnoxious at last season's game, shouting and using rude words This is behaviour is like to see clamped down on
  17. If he is ill and isn't available to be selected Is what the poster meant
  18. Close one this game, both aiming for playoffs Wednesday to edge it, 1-0 Newhoo to score
  19. Still undefeated If the owls stay undefeated they could make the playoffs
  20. I think Brexit has shown how divided the white population of the UK is You have the pampered toffs and the working classes. Totally divided, totally different life experiences and completely different needs and wants
  21. And that is the nail hit on the head As a country we no longer have the mentality to roll up our sleeves and do the hard work
  22. I think what brexit has shown is that as a nation we are insignificant, we are no longer the nation we once were I voted out I thought it was a chance to turn things around, maybe get out industry restarted and selling things around the world Rebuild our way back up, similar to Japan after WW2 - even if it took a few decades, but at least start taking steps down that path now. Sadly I can't see it happening any longer
  23. I can tell you straight none of the children in our family attendee any of these protests There was nobody available to drive them there and back. We can drive the kids to school and home again, as the school is only 100 meters from our house But driving 3 miles in rush hour? Perhaps the organisers need to rethink about driving and parking arrangements in future? I think the children are raising valid points about the environment. The other parents agreed
  24. Would it not make more sense for these protests to take place in holiday resorts such as Benidorm, Ibiza, Torremolinos etc... How much pollution is caused by air travel by people going abroad on holiday Surely going to these holiday resorts over the coming months to protest would be more sensible? Antagonising people trying to get to work probably isn't the best way to get people to have sympathy to your cause Reducing the number of people going abroad on holiday has to be a good thing for the environment?
