    Maybe UK mounted cops are not trained for this, I don't know, I'm not an expert. But the quote from the article states that leading people is "a trained technique and best practice in some scenarios".

    It is not though. I'm not going to defend "humane" killing but clearly there are different levels of cruelty involved in killing animals. We're still reliant on meat consumption and we should aim for the least cruel ways to provide it. Which halal or shechita are not.

    Article mentions that "... this is a trained technique and best practice in some scenarios...". If the police routinely use this technique I don't see any issue with that. No need for black offenders to receive special treatment.

    That's not the point, is it? I mean, I don't eat lamb (don't like it) and I still am concerned about raising and slaughtering of the lambs. Also, farming can be unnecessary wasteful/aggressive too and I'm concerned about that too.

    The difference is, BNP is not illegal. Perhaps it has few racist members, the party itself is controversial at most and let's be honest - completely irrelevant and meaningless. Hamas is recognised terrorist organization. That's a different level.
