In this case, public shouldn't even see the evidence. Revealing gathered information about terrorists to public might also reveal your tactics and causing a threat to security. And it's only good that government is capable of such a swift actions. If you don't like it, vote for another government. Or move to another country which works for your favour. -

Non-British citizens in rented property
Branyy replied to pinkpeach90's topic in Sheffield Property & Housing
In general, renting a property as a foreigner is complicated. Letting agencies can't do a proper background check and they can just refuse to let a property. As for your original question, just a visit shouldn't matter but check your tenancy agreement or ask the landlord directly. -
£1.25 million appears in your account; what do you do?

I guess it all depends on the value of damage. The threshold is set to £200. But I'm not sure, maybe that concerns shoplifting cases only. -

Keeping the money would be considered as a theft: 'Retaining wrongful credit'. The 1968 Theft act defines this as: "A person is guilty of theft if he dishonestly appropriates property belonging to another with the intention of permanently depriving the other of it". A person is guilty of an offence if: (a) a wrongful credit has been made to an account kept by him or in respect of which he has any right or interest; (b) he knows or believes that the credit is wrongful; and © he dishonestly fails to take such steps as are reasonable in the circumstances to secure that the credit is cancelled." -
Can anyone explain me one thing? So there are properties where more than 1 family is living, tenant claim the others are just visitors. If these people want to claim any benefits or register for NHS care, they have to provide proof of address, right? So there must be some database of people claiming that address as their residency. Shouldn't it be easy then to reveal this tenancy frauds?
