This thread is about somebody flying a flag:suspect: I like to see the St George flag, i too fly the flag on my back yard im proud to be british, i put the flag up for the last world cup and its been there since. Im no rascist. There are too many people that see "rascist" remarks when we start to talk about being british etc, we are all human, we are all different, its that what makes us all individuals... not a colour or belief.

i like to see any sheffield team do well be it football, rugby, basketball.... but i cringe if "them" do well. ((a bit pointless and juvenile how fans of the two Sheffield sides profess to hate each other's teams so much)).... sorry mate but i love the stick we give each other.. friendly of course.. Id never support the blunts.... but id rather have them as neighbours, than not have that at all..

Can you ever trust or forgive family members when they do bad things...??? NO! my so called close family had said too many hurtful things to me over the past few years, for stupid reasons, all i have tried to do and doing is to better myself by changing my life etc: its made me fitter and more a Confidante man.... and they call me stupid??? well i call them selfish. i thought familys were there to offer support - god i was so wrong. im never gonna forgive them for what they have said to me, an apolgy must be taken and given by both to work - as for as they are concerned im wrong no matter what.... my close family are dead to me. it may sound strong but blood is only thicker than water if the love is there to hold you together. They drove me away like im the odd one out. To cut a very long story short - my family turned on me after "i asked" to come off my disability... ive had a long illness etc... they called me stupid as its money for nowt:loopy: i feel proud that ive changed my life and in fitter than ive been for 20 years theres more to life than money... im proud of what ive done and still doing.

I must admit i do like to watch the x-factor:suspect: but not for the next big pop star.... i like to watch the first few programmes where all the cat choirs try to sing.... the agony...... suppose that makes me a rotter.

I like Most Haunted, but it seems to have fallen into the same type of week after week same stuff... at first i thought it was brill but when you look back at the first series, they are no closer to finding anything different, its all the same orbs, shadows etc, theres no hard evidence, its all like a repeat.... i find it interesting but frustrating ... i want to see a bogeyman

I live quite close to Ecclesfield park, 10 min walk, 5 mins from colley park, 5 mins from parson cross park, all that green space you think that id be happy with all those parks around me, with having 4 kids... where do i take my kids for a game of footie etc??? hillsbrough park. Colley park had a load of money spent on it .... waste of time its now ruined... Parson cross had a re-model new play area etc fencing safe floors etc.... its now nacked.... what ever happened to local pride and looking after where you live.... im only 35 and feel ashamed to say i live on the cross... too many kids are left to do as they want and too many parents are willing to let their kids please themselves....

Ive been with blueyonder for 2 years and had no probs and no reason to complain...upgraded from 1mb to 4mb for free too..

Being the bigger fanbase makes means sod all if you cant deliver the goods on the pitch..... we have more season ticket holders now, than we did in the Premiership that means nothing to the size of any club no matter where you travel/come from to watch your team. Only time will tell if the new season ticket holders will renew their support...

Theres some good replys on here, although i dont drive, im hoping to have my first driving lesson next mth to help widen my job prospects i suppose for safety reasons the cameras are a good thing, but with what ive read from your views many people would be happy to see the back of them, what do you think could replace them, to make things safer and fair for everyone.

I ask because of the way my mate has been acting, simply because hes livid about being done himself - which i find quite funny, he broke the law..... so whats the argument? its just that although he did break the law he hates speed camers, and says they do more harm than good, and i just cant see why, i must be a driver thing..

I know some people would like to hang me for saying this but....Could someone explain to me why you ((DRIVERS))complain about speed cameras etc, as ((i dont drive)) and find it hard to understand why its upsets loads of people, if the law says the speed limit is 30, 40 or 50 etc and your over that limit, your breaking the law.... so.... why is it wrong to make people slow down? If people didnt speed they would'nt be there in the first place... like the tv ads say speed kills.. so why are speed cameras - speeding fines so unfair to most drivers?? I dont belive there there just to make money, there is a safety issue to the reason they are there. And driving while on the mobile do you think is safe to do, i know that there are loads of different things to use now in the car for mobiles, but a mate of mine has just been done for using his mobile while driving, and is livid that hes been fined etc: Do drivers think our roads are safe enough and are paying the price of a few idiots on the road?

I had a heart problem years ago, and things like salt etc i cut out of my diet straight away, im quite Strict on what i eat now, i even cut out all the booze and fags, and i must admit im better than ever, my heart is ok now:) but adding salt to my food makes me feel sick.. theres enough crap in food if you read all the small print...

Are you on about the hill at the rear of hillsbrough centre that goes towards Shirecliffe?? i was walking home when there was a fire in the trees at the top of the hill and i could see 5-6 kids climbing about from the 5 arches bridge.... the smoke was blowing right over towards herries rd. school holidays bless...
