  1. I’ve probably been to worse. I bet they didn’t have to bring a bottle
  2. You are prepared to brush these things off, very much as Johnson would like everybody to do. It started with Cummings and just goes on in one form or another. But it is damaging the Conservative party which should concern you probably a lot more than it does me.
  3. Just to avoid any confusion,Michael Tracey is a freelance journalist “well known for his contrarian views” He has to earn a living I suppose
  4. You just couldn’t make it up. The senior civil servant,Sir Simon Case who is currently investigating the various parties is now reported to have sent out invitations last December .... to a Christmas Party.
  5. Thanks for that inside information. Best get it done then
  6. And many people who have been vaccinated would agree with that. And many people who have been vaccinated would agree with that. The vaccine provides for personal protection, but the more people who get it gives collective protection and opens up the freedoms for everybody.
  7. He repeatedly states that his focus is set on getting on with the job. I don’t see much evidence much of that as far as any of his promises have progressed. Brexit resolution, solving the care and welfare issues, levelling up. However I don’t see a queue of able Conservative MPs who would wish to take on a massive job at such a difficult time . Nor do I think that Keir Starmer has shone so far in his opposition role.
  8. There is much to be critical of in my opinion but there is a whole spectrum of views. My issue is with those who deny that the advent of Covid was ever a serious issue that came out of the blue and then fail to acknowledge that vaccine uptake is necessary when it has plainly paved the way towards the freedoms that we all want. Some of the lurid claims made on here by the obvious subjects deserve all the derision that they routinely get. I don’t include you in that category but it’s only 2 years since the virus rocked the world and I don’t go along with your apparent ability to dismiss the severity of what might have been .
  9. You miss the point, perhaps deliberately. Annual varieties of the flu virus have been controlled largely by vaccines. Two years ago the first wave of Covid caused many deaths and demands on health services around the world I.e.a pandemic. Some on here forget that or even deny that it was ever an issue that had to be addressed . There is nothing like a demand to create a response and the advances in technology enabled the development of several approved vaccines in record time. These in turn have achieved the aim of lessening the effect of the virus but this success story is being used by the anti vaccine brigade as an argument that it was never needed. Now that is bizarre
  10. Without vaccines we would still suffer severe flu epidemics and pandemics.
  11. The Spanish Flu was deadly at the time because medical knowledge was not sufficiently advance to identify its cause. However as I am sure that you know, once it was identified as a virus rather than bacterial then it was possible to develop vaccines based on actual viruses and probable mutations . So thanks to medical advances flu pandemics have been avoided due to vaccination programmes. And that is all that even more advanced medical knowledge is trying to create for Covid variations. The bizarre reaction stems from those who oppose vaccinations. All available on Google for those who can use it.
  12. The vaccine isn’t as good as thought by who? And yes I have an opinion.
  13. It’s not the link that is the problem, although the original would be welcome Its the inference that you draw from it and the simple comparison that you keep repeating. You have had a few pointers but seem unwilling to think it through. Google doesn’t think for you,so perhaps you are using it wrongly.
  14. I think that people are trying to get you to work it out for yourself instead of just trotting out a misleading political headline from The Christian ? Something or other. Its not working is it?
  15. Lacking emphasis on”all” Can’t you do colours?
  16. That’s good. The vaccine / natural immunity seems to be doing a job.
  17. That’s not true either. I have said on many an occasion that with the internet we can all find the answers that we are looking for. There is an expert out there’s for every occasion.
  18. I don’t think that anyone is doubting that an article appeared in the NYT. Have you got a link to the original article.
  19. That is completely in line with your usual comprehension of previous posts.
  20. Herd immunity plus vaccine immunity even better.
  21. This is the Christianity Daily synopsis of a New York Times article. Do you have the original article?
  22. Doctors are not unhappy.🤪 Goodnight
  23. I am unhappy with it ,doctors are unhappy with it and patients are unhappy with it.Which is why, nowthat there is an apparently effective vaccine that the NHS are imploring you to have the vaccine to reduce the possibility of Hospitals being in the same position as they were pre vaccine. The NHS have a current priority which should be acted upon.
  24. Given your apparent attitude to the medical profession why have so much faith in their other disciplines.
  25. So you don’t believe that vaccines have reduced hospitalisations and deaths.
