After leaving 'The Junction' we moved to Buxton.  Ida died more than five years back. Had a great childhood playing in the woods and fields ranging from Hackenthorpe to Handsworth, Treeton to Stradbroke. Hair cut at John's, Fishcake butty from Mannings, Dandy & Beano from Dickinsons, Groceries from Andersons etc etc. I go back every couple of weeks to see my folks.
