I'm in Woodhouse, we were the first family to move on to the Skelton estate in 1972,still on same estate, just different house. Also went to Shirebrook school when it first opened.......ah ,the memories.....

Aston High School that is - some of us Woodhouse Mill kids had to go there instead of Beaver Hill as we lived on the wrong side of the road

Are there still loads of the Lax family around Woodhouse?

 

i used to go to the same school as Michelle Lax, sometimes saw her in the village, but not seen her or any of her brothers for absolutely years.

Im from woodhouse ,lived on market street before we emigrated .i grew up there from the seventies lived on the then new built skelton estate and a few place around woodhouse later.I visit often its not the same place but i did have a great childhood there.
