New Colours For First Buses In South Yorkshire

Recommended Posts

What a load of rubbish. How did they manage back in the day then when Sheffield Corporation ran the buses and trams with their blue and ivory livery? I suppose all those trams lined up at the southern end of Shoreham Street on a Saturday afternoon at 16:30 waiting to run through the city centre to all points north were there just for fun were they?

No harm done pal. But getting back on track do you remember in the old days of the blue and ivory livery when the first all over advert bus for The Star appeared? All red and blue diagonal wavy lines?

Then the all over advert for Fletchers bread with the bus painted up like a loaf of bread. You could even see the edges of the greaseproof wrapping paper on the front and back.
