Schools In Lockdown After Armed Police Sent To Serious Assault

Armed police officers have been sent to the scene of a "serious assault" in a south Wales town which has forced nearby schools into lockdown.

 

Police said emergency services were called to Moy Road in Aberfan, Merthyr Tydfil, just before 09:10 GMT.

 

People have been asked to avoid the area while armed police "effectively deal with this incident", South Wales Police added.

Would have been an idea to say 'some Welsh schools' and not suggest the incident was related to the schools. Or even better, to not over-dramatise the incident at all.

 

Sorry, Daddy, but you do have a tendency to be a tad dramatic.

 

Mind you, the BBC report doesn't help - they are trying to dramatise an incident they clearly have little information about.
