The Clarets V Dem Blades

Has it ever been known for a manager & backroom staff to resign during a match, (Heckingbottom, McCall & Lester)?

But as I understand it, they still have lengthy contracts so unless the Prince pays them off, we're stuck with this rubbish.

Wow, just seen that result. Commiserations to all involved. Not sure how Burnley have been doing this season but I don't think they've been pulling any trees up have they. Looks like blades have downed tools. But will poundland pull the trigger or will he be happy keeping hecky on knowing that he can do a job in the Championship, will hecky go tonight.🙃

I put Radio Sheffield on just after the end of the game to hear Carl Asaba's summary of the match.  First thing he said was in the second half the players just appeared to 'down tools'.   Well that's not good enough for all those who travelled to Turf Moor today.  Maybe SUFC should think about refunding the ticket price of all those who've gone today!

But let's face it, this is a bigger embarrassment than the loss to Newcastle.  Listening to the Blades who've gone today, no commitment once again.  Heads went down after the 3rd Burnley goal - for God sake, you're highly paid professional footballers - there's no leaders on the pitch.

So some of the blame should be laid at the players' door but ultimately most of the blame lies with Heckingbottom for not having a plan B & as making Norwood captain.

Norwood, the least expected, quietest players, you would hand the captain's arm band  to & now after a few games, proved to be in affective as a captain.  Not a fighter or shouter.
