Minimo   59 #1 Posted November 17, 2022 I started, some months ago, getting emails from my brother inviting me to 'check out these photos' Of course they were not from my brother at all. I never clicked on any, just deleted them. Now my sister has got in on it, also scams. My question is, is it my email address book that has been hacked or one of my siblings. Is there anyway of knowing and any suggestions how to put things right, if possible.
 Share this content via...
RollingJ Â Â 2,103 #2 Posted November 17, 2022 Are these obviously spam emails coming from your sister? If so, it is possibly her address book which has fallen foul of these scam-merchants. Â All three of you need to check your email through; https://haveibeenpwned.com/
 Share this content via...

Two data breaches were found but to be honest I'm not much wiser. I'll get the others to check as well.
 Share this content via...

crookesey   644 #7 Posted November 18, 2022 Anything not answering something asked by you is likely to be scam, even if it appears to come from family/friends it’s worth a phone call to corroborate.
 Share this content via...
