Cig In A Bag

Recommended Posts

I was born in Wath. Pensioner now! I'm sure the sweet shop sold cigs with match in a bag. Has senility hit me or does anybody else remember this?

I remember the seaside slot machine, if the ball went in the right slot you won a fag.

I have actually got an old 20 Park Drive packet on top a cupboard.  Don’t ask me why , all I can say is I had not seen one for years and thought I’d save it to show me Dad   , who like me is an ex Park Drive smoker

This was common when I was a lad. One cig, one match.

Many years later I was at the shops of the flats right at the bottom of City Rd (on the left, not sure of the name) And that shop was still selling one cig, one match at a very inflated price. This must have been the late 80's.

What are they now? about £10 for a 20 pack?
