I don't think it was that we missed those particular players but that we didn't replace them, a huge error.

Looking increasing likely that Jordan Rhodes will join Udders on a free transfer.....

 

Shame it didn't work out at Hillsborough....can't fault his effort on the pitch and the games he played towards the end of the season just finished,he contributed a lot to the cause in terms of goals and assists....but overall, a big disappointment considering his overall goal scoring record..

 

Not his fault that Wednesday payed daft money on his transfer fee and wages...but if his goals had got us promotion into the PL it would have all been justified...think it all weighed heavily on him over time and effected his game...

He did get a Championship winners medal though so it wasn't all bad.

Released list just been made public, no real surprises but I thought Pelupessy might have got a deal, not the most eye catching of players but rarely injured and may have been useful in L1.

Sad that Westwood & Lees careers at Hillsborough ended in  relegation ...they've both served Wednesday well ...

Sums up how bad Wednesday's player recruitment has been...Adam Reach & Jordan Rhodes cost a combined figure of £13 million and today they've both got free transfers ....add to the fact we got a points deduction for mis-management of the clubs finances and it's no wonder the club is in such a sorry state...

Not only Wednesday throwaway  money on players that are just not Good enough some clubs have spent many millions more on complete tosses pots .
