mrcharlie
Is Amazon to blame for how a browser written by apple, running on an apple phone, works? I've no idea, but if I remove the app it should stop it. Truth be told I'm becoming a little tired of apps. The novelty has worn off. I don't do much buying except at Xmas. Yet everytime I do a search Amazon or eBay links usually top the list, and then in the case of Amazon shuts my frigging phone down!! The eBay app will remain, if only until Easter, I'm already 3 months into a major purge. What's not gone by Easter will either be dumped, car booted or possibly charity shopped. But fully intend to get as much of my money back first - lol Edited December 31, 2017 by mrcharlie
Cyclone
That's like declaring that on your PC that you've become a little tired of programs... Safari is an app, without apps your phone doesn't do anything except make phone calls, send texts and tell the time.

Cyclone
I know, what a barbaric world that would be.

That's all my PHONE does - for anything else I use my iPad, so much easier - IMHO
Cyclone
Sounds like you have to carry two devices around and charge two devices... So much more difficult.
RollingJ
True, I do have to carry both, but neither weigh that much, and I just find the phone screens too fiddly to use as 'computers'. Plus, for reasons i'm not going into here, I need a dual-sim phone.

I have a tablet but only used ity to watch TV whilst commuting.
