He has frittered millions on millions this season on wages and transfer fees and he's actually made the team perform worse. 1 win in 7, while being a blip, is awful to see. I feel that he will not get you promoted (let's see him prove me wrong now) no matter how long or how many millions you give him. The fact that you can't get Rhodes scoring consistently with some of the players you have is unreal. When we bought Rhodes i did say its a massive gamble and so far it looks like i was right, if the rest of the team dont get the ball up to him how can he score? The buck has to stop at the manager sometimes It's been a funny old season for the owls the Forestieri dummy spitting at the beginning of the season didn't help but ever since Jordan Rhodes arrived at the club he has shone brightly and I do think he's an excellent player. The buck has to stop at the manager sometimes Performances on the whole this season have been disappointing...and some of his signings have been a let down for what-ever reason....but results have kept us sat nicely in the top six and it wasnt that long ago we could have gone 10 points clear....but a crippling injury list to players down the spine of the team..Lees,Hutchinson,Lee,Wallace,Hooper and Forestieri,plus injuries to fringe players,such as Abdi,Buckley and McManaman have coincided with this dreadful run .and an injury list like that would effect any team,regardless of what league they play in..but there are still 7 or so games left and if we get into the play-offs who knows what might happen.... 1295galaxy Posted April 4, 2017 Author Share Posted April 4, 2017 Carlos does not seem to know is Best team yet after being in charge over 18 months,he as is Favourites,who he seems so scared to drop,Bannan as been Rubbish this year and comes out saying he is playing with a injury,then why?wasn"t he rested to get solve the injury,to good Centre Forwards who love attacking crosses,but The Owls never seem to create chances for them,Hunt did one good cross and Rhodes scored from it,Wallace is not a winger to put crosses into the box,plays more like a midfielder as goes looking for the ball too much,Right & Left Back so unreliable who love going forward too much,Why no Creative midfielder not signed or Centre Half,shows that Carlos as wasted to much money on is Squad Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
