Seven-year-old boy living as a girl

Recommended Posts

Thanks, I suppose you're a fan of Michael Gove and his disdain for experts.

I think the poster is just practicing common sense.

How could you say that, it's clearly a thread FULL of experts.

You dont have to be an expert to know thats the mothers actions in letting HIM live as a girl is child abuse of the highest order.

Gender dysphoria - NHS Choices

http://www.nhs.uk/conditions/Gender-dysphoria/Pages/Introduction.aspx

Gender dysphoria is a condition where a person experiences discomfort or distress because there's a mismatch between their biological sex and gender

identity .

There's plenty of help available for parents and children.

That would be saying that the judge is wrong; I will go along with the judge until the appeal.

Mr Justice Hayden said "flares of concern" had been sent from a "whole raft of multi-disciplinary agencies".

The boy "expressed disdain for his penis", not sure that is 'normal'.

El Cid,

Just some additional information on the subject.

" Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust’s Gender Identity Development Service in London over the past five years. A multidisciplinary clinic where all British transgender children are assessed, the service has seen referrals increase by 50% every year, from 97 new cases in 2009 to 697 in 2014. Young children such as Tom are unusual, but not rare: last year alone, close to 100 of those referred were aged 10 or younger ".

Get used to these things happening, morals are changing and some for the very worse as we see in this case. Certain groups of people have took equality and discrimination way too far.

This should be regarded as abuse, although all the lefties will excuse this. The laws of the land tell us a child under the age of 10 is not capable of making correct judgements, therefore how can a child decide whether they are a boy or a girl. When they get to 18 they can decide for themselves, however before that the parent is making the judgement not the child.

Did you know that you were a boy when you were 10?

...and same question to you....

Transgender issues have come to the fore much more over the past few years. I think because people don't relate it to their own experiences, many are in denial that it is genuinely a way of being which is as valid and real as any other.

Nothing to do with morals. More to do with biology.

Yes, there's such a thing as being too equal, after all everyone needs to know they're place right...

Nothing wrong with being equal but everything wrong with letting/wanting a child change sex

So again, I ask. Did you know what gender you were when you were a child?

What gender are you now? Are you sure?
