redfox   10 #37 Posted October 7, 2016 I think Gamston was being ironic using Hookem's own quote. Joker said let's step outside mano a mano. Hookem claims Woolfe said that to him.  Irony - yes I get that - not sure I would from a hospital bed mind !
 Share this content via...
Santo   10 #38 Posted October 7, 2016 Irony - yes I get that - not sure I would from a hospital bed mind !  Too soon?  The thread is called UKIP - what a joke.  Did you not expect humour at their expense?
 Share this content via...
Gamston   10 #39 Posted October 7, 2016 I think Gamston was being ironic using Hookem's own quote. Joker said 'let's step outside mano a mano.' Hookem claims Woolfe said that to him, he didn't punch Woolfe and it was just handbags at dawn (and a bit girly I think?). Thanks for explaining it, Santo.  Redfox is a few colours short of a rainbow.
 Share this content via...
Penistone999 Â Â 10 #40 Posted October 7, 2016 I'm on about UKIP - doh Was there any part of the op that led you to believe otherwise. Attack is the best form of defence. Â You must be afraid to talk about UKIP. Â The turmoil that has been the leadership of this collection of misfits has reached a new level of ridiculous. Â Describes Labour perfectly
 Share this content via...

El Cid   221 #43 Posted October 17, 2016 Joke or otherwise, they have managed almost single handedly to change the course of history...  They were helped by Tory donors, who were happy for a anti-immigration party to split Labours vote.  Its a question of what will happen next; will we get PR because of these smaller parties, or will the Tories face a challenge from a new opposition?  ---------- Post added 17-10-2016 at 20:25 ----------  And now Woolfe has quit UKIP and, contrary to reports, states that Hookem did punch him and that he filed a police complaint.  Punch or not, Hookem admitted to the act. unbeliever   10 #44 Posted October 17, 2016 (edited) UKIP were never a suitable replacement for Labour. It was always going to be the Lib Dems or an alliance centred around the Lib Dems and a new Labour break-away party with a good helping of SNP thrown in. Justin Smith   10 #45 Posted October 18, 2016 Joke or otherwise, they [uKIP] have managed almost single handedly to change the course of history...  Well them plus Cameron unexpectedly getting a majority at the last election. He, and many of the rest of us, were banking on there being another coalition, so they wouldn`t have to enact the more senseless policies they had in their manifesto.
