cuttsie
Are they different to the 12 cases that were delivered to Downing Street in 2004? http://www.buzzfeed.com/jamieross/something-to-celebrate Just asking.... Of course not although I did not see the BBC news show that delivery. New Labour are a joke any way.

04jessops
Every time I turn the teli on and see people starving or home less I feel guilty. But my sent fiver makes no difference. 450 million paid for useless pieces of canvas would. A regular donation of £5 to charity would!

willman
But as a percentage how much of your disposable income does the £5 form? If a billionaire has purchased the Picasso ,its only small potatoes. The same person possibly contributes more than a fiver to "charities" Why should certain people be expected to contribute for the life choices of others when others aren't. 65 million + in the UK donating a £1 each every week and it still wouldn't make a difference because people choose not to change. Nagel
No one knows who bought the painting. It could have been Bill Gates who donates billions to help disadvantaged people in the Third World.
loraward
Or it might be someone that donates money to help disadvantaged wild life that suffer as a consequence of global human over population.
