El Cid
3 British judges sacked for watching porn at work, that is an example of over reaction to something which is legal, and they get sacked. Would they have got sacked for getting a speeding ticket going from one court to another in another city? Of course because of the shame, they are unlikely to contest it. I think porn is wrong, although I have watched it on occasion.
Obelix
IF they were sacked for watching it during a lunch period that makes me uneasy. If they were sacked because they were meant to me working then it doesnt matter if it were porn or not TBH - they should have had full attention on the job. I'd guess that the decision to sack them is probably more to do with the fact that they're paid to work during work time, not watch porn!

taxman
They were watching it on their official work accounts, not their own. I believe that children are our future. Unless we stop them now.
El Cid
They were watching it on their official work accounts, not their own. Would they have been sacked for buying something from Ebay?
RonJeremy
It depends. I don't watch porn at work, but sometimes someone sends me an email with a link which then directs to a porn site. Not my fault, could have been important. I'm surprised there isn't a filter on their "company" internet access.
Mecky
Would they have been sacked for buying something from Ebay? Possibly, seen it happen before
Cyclone
IF they were sacked for watching it during a lunch period that makes me uneasy. If they were sacked because they were meant to me working then it doesnt matter if it were porn or not TBH - they should have had full attention on the job. More importantly, they were sacked for IT misuse. They've no doubt signed up to an acceptable use policy, and they were in breach of it. Had they been watching porn on their own 3g network, at lunch, and in private, then nobody would have a)known, or b) cared. ---------- Post added 20-03-2015 at 11:50 ---------- Would they have been sacked for buying something from Ebay? The acceptable use policy probably doesn't preclude personal use (so long as it doesn't interfere with the job).
