sheff71
☺ Yes I'd go along with a similar scoreline dobby , providing they do themselves justice by making a game of it , then I'd be fairly happy. The one thing I'd like more than anything would be for us to score a goal, especially for the travelling hordes. ☺Owl. ---------- Post added 01-01-2015 at 21:25 ---------- With City beating Sunderland and Spurs beating Chelsea It means Wednesday will now play the Lge leaders level on points with Chelsea. Whilst the Blades will be playing relegation threatened Qpr. I reckon the Blades could find Qpr the toughest Premier Lge opponents of their recent cup runs.☺Owl. Hardly... Southampton were in the top five when we played them, and West Ham have been up at the top end all season. We may well lose to QPR (especially with their strong home record), but on paper the other two were much better sides. But, we are two divisions below QPR, so they should expect to see us off really, especially as they pull away from the dropzone. I'd be surprised if City put out much of a side this weekend, now they have a much better chance of winning the title, and after the mauling from the previous meeting they could be overconfident. Titanic99
I'm considering parking at Ashton tomorrow and taking the park and ride to the ground, has anyone done this previously and how busy does it get?

sheff71
Early team news (from SSNHQ) - "Toure could feature, Fernando available, Kompany, Dzeko and Aguero out ... Loovens expected to be fit, Mattock out so Dieina could start" - without their best defender and top two strikers, if you can nick a lead, who knows - it's not like you have a slack defence in the league! castleboy
☺Wednesday will be without two of their regular players v City. Joe Mattock has a groin injury, could be replaced by Claude Dielna. This will leave Jeremy Helan to continue on the wide left . The other is Lewis McGugan who has returned to Watford after his loan spell ended. Would think the central midfield partnership will be Kieron Lee and Jose Semedo. The strike partnership could be the "World class " pairing of Stevie May and Adte Nuhiu as cuttsie mentioned them. By it doesn't come any better than that , from being a REVELATION to World class.
