Starbucks always get my name wrong

Recommended Posts

In the UK do they write your name on the cup? They always get my name wrong! Why can't Starbucks make a name card for regular visitors that they can just hold up and show to the employee? Or maybe I should just lie from now on and say a name easier to understand!

Change your name to latte.

Maybe I'm missing something but what kind of a person goes into a coffee shop and wants to have their name on a cup? I don't understand where they're coming from

It's all very deep and psychological.

I think the layman term is ******up!:hihi:

If its a "fancy" coffee (i.e. not a standard black filter coffee they can instantly serve there and then) then the person on the checkout takes the order and passes it into the queue of the coffee making person.

In order to identify which coffee belongs to which waiting customer they write a name on the cup.

Starbucks don't give you a choice, they like to write your name on the cup so you feel all included. It's an American thing.

MY local one, they just write "Spartacus" as soon as they see me now and the GF's one is "Terminatrix".....
