What's happened to Kwik Save?

Recommended Posts

ALdi, Lidl and Netto all Suck. Would be nice to see something like a Samll Sainsbury's there. Kwik Save had everything going for them there, easy access for the old people and to the carpark. Easy to navigate aisles and a great range of different foods and brands. My Dad looked distraught when I told him Kwik Save was closing down....

I think Somerfield have bought them out, all to make way for more Somerfield stores. So may well be that what will be there.

There was a residents group meeting on Wednesday, when this was mentioned, it appears that the precinct has changed hands, and been taken over by a company called either Axa or Axia, didn't get the spelling.

Chloe, Kwik Slave have been owned by Scummerfield for around six or seven years, they are in the process of selling off some of their stores.

By the way did you hear that Maggie Thatcher wasn't still the PM?

The kwiksave at Firth Park is going back to Sommerfields apparantly, so maybe the one at Hillsborough will follow suit.

And I also know that Kwik Save has been owned by Somerfield for a long time, seeing as I worked at Somerfield myself for nearly 3 years

If you're looking to play the field owdlad, and plan to abandon your beloved Netto for another pile-'em-high flog-'em-cheap, you could always try Aldi...
