I could use a little help. Also i have a two bedroom house up for rent

ok so here is two very different calls for help.

firstly i have recently been having a very tough time over the past year with work and housing troubles.

things are just now starting to look up for me but unfrotunately i am left with a gap of about 2 and half weeks where i will not have any money

i am not specifically here asking for money . . . i am however starting to get desperately hungry, if anyone would be willing to donate any random food items to help me survive until my first pay starts coming in, i would be extremely appreciative.

i live in s10 area and im willing to walk almost anywhere i can if help is on offer

if you prefer to help with small cash amounts then i would also be very grateful

ive never really had to make a post like this before but i literally have noone to ask for help

 

now for a completely different question

Im trying to find tenants for a two bedroom house on oxford street in sheffield.

if anyone knows anyone or personally needs the property

I'm not personally in a position to help you out, but what about these foodbanks we hear about, could you access one of those?

 

Or if you are expecting a wage coming in soon, what about taking a small payday loan to tide you over?

dont you need to be a member of the church or something for the food banks?

and i cant get a payday loan, bad credit.

or you could take your telly, jewellery, car, whatever down the pawn shop and get a loan that way - no credit check needed for that.

no you don't need to be a church member for foodbanks, when me and my wife needed help (were not church members) they helped us willingly. just give them a call and explain your situation (don't be too proud to ring they are there for people in need) the worst they can say is no,

its not my house

im just getting paid a small fee to find tenants

only when they move in though

Read the thread before posting. The OP has stated the property is not theirs, they are being paid a small fee for finding a tenant.

And I haven't seen any begging just another human being asking for help.

he could be using one at the library, that's free ... and tbh, these days it's hard to even get information about jobs if you don't have access to the internet or a phone.

 

It sounds more like s/he just hit a really bad patch and needs tiding over for a short time? I think the food banks, a credit union or a payday loan are the way to go for them. Or do the DHSS still do crisis loans?
