First are back on the road, though obviously they (or any other operator) will not be running a full service, and of course there will be delays....

Unions in my experience give some people a self entitled attitude.

Or maybe have a management that values profit over the safety of their drivers or other road users?

Stagecoach have the same union

Drivers don't decide when to stop running.

Don't tar them all with the same brush, Hubby doesn't have a bad attitude he's a First driver. On the other hand the hassle & agro some people give them doesn't make their attitudes any better so there's no wonder some are miserable.

(PS I don't do buses cos I hate them lol)

I think that people are being a bit unfair to the buses or bus companies. The 51 bus is out and about but, it managed to travel from Crosspool shops all the way to Lydgate Juniors in a fantastic 90 minutes.

Not sure what in particular is causing the issues - whether it's simply vehicles are getting stuck or there has been a bump or something. Just looked out now onto the main road (A57) and traffic doesn't appear to be moving very quickly - if it's moving at all.

that is a bit short sited.

It would not take long to jam up a phone line if everyone did that, however many people can access a web page simultaneously.

Still, don't let that get in the way of a sarcy reply!

it would be money well wasted on the phone line if no one used it.

if everybody looked on line it would slow the net down for us shoppers.
