If you do have vouchers to spend, get in before they go into admin as once in they might just not honour them.

Jeffrey Shaw
Might keep an eye on to see if there are any big sales on shops closing, need a new fridge, washing machine and some other bits. Good advice- but use credit card (so there's at least some comeback/insurance if the item fails and Comet's no longer around by then).

Jeffrey Shaw
It was last year, BBC reports. Private equity firm OpCapita, which owns the 240-store business, has lined up restructuring specialist Deloitte to act as administrator. OpCapita bought Comet last year for £2, but the business has struggled from the downturn in consumer spending. Mind, for £2 what did the purchaser expect? Maybe it can return the purchase and demand a refund (as it doesn't seem to work).
S10mainly
The Managing Director at Comet says that he blames the economic downturn caused by the tory boys.
