Competition can only be good for the customers! Hopefully we will get bigger maximums and prize pools for competitions. If they get a car valet service going I may be inclined to visit it a bit more. ChrisT70 Posted September 23, 2012 Author Share Posted September 23, 2012 Is food a loss-leader for casinos? i.e. they don't make money on it, but is just a way to get people in the door, so they (the casino) can make money on gambling activity. i would say not, they charge reasonable rates over here and any good restaurant thats busy and well run will make money. in vegas yes they throw food at you at daft rates in the buffets, but not in the top class restaurants, it can be very expensive to eat in them.
