Billy Casper
We only got 1700 tickets, holds about 12,700. I believe their average attendance to be around 5,000. They may get another 1,000 with it being their last home game but they will no where near sell out. Smaller clubs like Brentford struggle to keep going all the time, but when someone like Wednesday give the likes of Brentford an opportunity to add much needed £££'s to their income they're not interested? We could quite easily have sold enough tickets to fill the ground, yet they'd sooner not have the revenue for some strange reason

We could quite easily have sold enough tickets to fill the ground, yet they'd sooner not have the revenue for some strange reason They did have over 8,000 in for Charlton, and the last home game against Notts County drew in over 7,000... so while they still have a chance of the playoffs, last home game and playing the third best team in the division, there's every chance they could get their best gate of the season, maybe approaching a full house, or at least 10k. I'm sure there'll be plenty of owls in the home areas anyway... And don't forget that Brentford seem to like playing the owls, two wins and a draw in the last three meetings suggests they have a chance of getting a win, and maybe close on the playoff places. Surely there will be a contingency plan in place for fans turning up without a ticket ? The police usually want fans in the ground so they can be monitored.
