I am late 60s so have seen a few things over the years, IMAGINE a bloke in the 1950s walking about in an earing let alone a dangly one. They probably just think they're a person and I doubt they're trying to impress anyone. If they were to wake up one day and think "how should I try to impress people today" I would have thought they'd be more likely decide to go an internet forum and tell other people they look like numpties, ask who do they think they are and who are they trying to impress?
