chuggster Posted March 19, 2012 Share Posted March 19, 2012 i couldent belive what i pulled out of the small pond at morehall yesterday a bloody sturgeon:loopy: not big by any means but what an ugly 'orrible fish:gag: ,i cant understand why this breed of fish has been introducted + i went on to catch it a further 3 times: before i got fed up and changed tatics, so morehall fishers watch out for this fish Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

sully84 Posted March 19, 2012 Share Posted March 19, 2012 Can't see the problem with it if its just the one? I used to fish a lake that had two Sturgeons in & everybody loved them. They were only small, one 4lb, one 5lb & they only came out every couple of months & they were a lovely suprise & change from the carp/tench. There was also a 4lb goldfish. All 3 that someone had just put in (unauthorised) when he decided he would fill his garden pond in & they just grew to the size of the lake etc...
