Speed Demon Posted March 15, 2012 Share Posted March 15, 2012 Does anyone watch this on BBC 1 with that big bloke Clive Holland, I always wondered what builders he uses for this show seeing as there are so many odd job men and jobsworths out there it must be a nightmare knowing who to trust and who will not rip you off. I know you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover but he comes across as thugish and I just don't like him. Can't stand to watch the programme because of him. Not sure I really like these kind of shows anymore as it means the general public are less and less likely to use their local tradesman. In one episode a builder had installed a pull cord for the light in a wet room , this was noted as one of the faults ,in the final scene they showed the completed job and it looked great ,but the light switch was still there. ---------- Post added 07-02-2013 at 21:09 ---------- I've watched it in the past but can't stand the presenter.
