The views are fantastic and the schools are some of the best in Sheffield, especially the high school). If you have the chance of a property I would go for it and ignore the idiots who say it is inbread which everyone has heard a million times before. Yes,inbreading is a myth and so is the adage that Stocksbridge people are inward looking.It is the most exciting part of South Yorkshire and even have a revived cinema.Remember it was the 'bridge that fired up the Monkeys and the renaissance of pop music in the UK.Oasis owe one to Manchester,The Arctic Ms owe Stocksbridge!
