76busroute
Why would it cost so much? It seems highly exorbitant for a few days!
go4it
Putting the boot in to people with disabilities, people made unemployed by the recession.... mmm what were you saying about "selfish, obnoxious"? You missed the point - people who don't have disabilities but claim they have, because they work 'the system' to get their benefits and not work. Everyone seems to have an anxiety disorder these days. I accept some do have this, but there are many many more who don't and just need a kick up the backside. go4it
If Labour did nothing for Sheffield it would be a lot more than the tories. A lot of the things you mention in your text refer to attempts to improve the quality of life of some people (clearly in your opinion misguided but attempts all the same) so I reckon that rules out selfishness. The tories will make cuts to look after their richest sponsers and supporters. They will make some cuts in the home counties but not many since that is the tory heartland. Are these selfish acts? Other places who do not support them will face the deepest cuts ie/Sheffield. What have the tories ever given Sheffield? Oh I forgot unemployment, social deprivation, (they even pinched the infants milk (Maggie Thatcher milk snatcher),cuts, cuts and more cuts - they seem quite obnoxious to me. Labour have given plenty - everything was great until a couple of years ago when thngs did turn sour. They were in the process of repairing the damage until Clegg showed his true colours and jumped into bed with Cameron. Labour wil at least try to help the people whereas that isn't even a consideration for the tories. Politics boils down to this: You are walking up a hill. You are stuggling. The Tories will leave you there to sort it out yourself. The better people find it in them to keep going and ultimately succeed. Labour will give you a push and then let you carry on. You stop. They give you another push. You stop again. They keep pushing you until you get just from the top and you give up and roll down the hill, to start all over again, with Labour pushing you every step o the way. Tories get criticised for 'looking after their own' but it has been shown time and time again that the poorest people will not help themselves and always need someone to tell them what to do and do it for them. And this costs money, hence the mess we are in after 13 years of Labour.

I'm amazed that Tory voters believe they don't need schools, hospitals, police, fire brigades, immigration services, state pension providers etc etc......maybe those who hate public services so much shouldn't receive them. Next time they need an ambulance, doctor, fireman, policeman, someone to teach their kid etc they should bloody well do it themselves. I believe that children are our future. Unless we stop them now. They are not getting rid of the services altogether they are just REDUCING IT. When you are in debt what do you do??? Simple, you cut down on things. Nobody said it was going to be easy and yes some people will lose their jobs but if they have got something about them they will find another one. We have been in this state before and life carried on. People need to learn to adapt.
duckweed
So if you are short of money and your elderly mother can't pay her rent and hasn't eaten for days. You leave her out in the street and tell her come back when you have more money?

Sarkysod
He was doing. Personally, I thought that was a good honest reply. Don't buy what you cannot afford. Unless Brighthouse have started to provide public services on the weekly?
