  1. Price of fencing should come down if it's made from the same stuff as Pinocchio's.
  2. Perhaps the title of this thread should be changed to Boris' party of lies, sleaze and scum.
  3. The brainless want us to think that he's trying to shake hands with fresh air.
  4. Its also a selected portion of video from a suitable angle in order to supposedly demonstrate what the you tube poster wants it to show and numpties swallow it hook line and sinker.
  5. Since 6th Jan was the day that the election was certified and the transfer of power doesn't happen until inauguration day (2 weeks later) Trump would still have been in office. He might know.
  6. I went into town last week and walked up Fargate and down the Moor. I didn't go in JD sports so I can't really comment on that. However town was packed and all the stores that I ventured in were making some attempt at keeping the numbers down and reminding people about social distancing (markers on the floor and loudspeaker announcements in some). However I feel that this was inconsistent in that a few stores limits appeared stricter (better) than others (I walked out of 3 places as I thought there were too many people inside.) Also what I found disappointing/ridiculous/stupid was that some people especially in the larger stores were putting a mask on to go past the staff on the doors and then taking them off or lowering them once inside. Whilst the majority of people were attempting to stick to the rules of social distancing there were others who clearly couldn't care less who basically were making a mockery of the plans of others. So yes there were/are crowds and lack of social distancing.
  7. This one in April https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/mp-pay-rise-parliament-average-basic-salary-boris-johnson-government-a9377776.html Annual increase of 3.1 per cent is in line with public sector average but well above the CPI inflation rate of 1.8 per cent and this is proposed for next April https://metro.co.uk/2020/10/09/mps-to-get-3300-pay-rise-as-coronavirus-puts-millions-of-jobs-at-risk-13395702/ The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) proposed their wages should continue to be linked to the public sector three-month annual growth figure of 4.1%, which is likely to exceed inflation. This means MPs, some of whom are working from home, will get an additional £3,360 on top of their salary of £81,932
  8. Sorry to be pedantic butlers but I think you meant $5m. https://www.cnbc.com/2019/07/09/joe-biden-releases-tax-returns-during-2020-democratic-primary.html
  9. Joe Biden hasn't shown himself to be anti British. What he has shown is that he is not in agreement and doesn't want to deal with countries not honoring contracts that they themselves (supposedly assuming Boris could bothered) helped devise and signed . If anything he has shown himself to be pro Irish which will definitely have done him more good than bad as far as the electorate is concerned.
  10. This is the chance that each individual has the virus. If there are 100 people in there the chance that there is at least 1 person with the virus becomes 22/1 (you probably wont be anywhere near to most of them). I agree with the remainder of your post unless he/she is coughing, sneezing or shouting ( I've seen plenty out and about and shopping).
  11. 24 seconds "and then I see the disinfectant. It knocks it out in a minute. one minute and is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or-or almost a cleaning as you see it gets n the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that." https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-52407177
