oldbean 10 #1 Posted March 2, 2010 I'm sinking in a sea of 1p's and 2p's. Never spend them, they just end up getting chucked in biscuit tins and jars. Nearly threw them in the bin last night, but seems a bit of a waste. Probably got about £50 worth. I remember a machine in meadowhall years ago, in sainsburys i think it was, chuck your coins in and get money to spend minus 2% or whatever it was. I dont think they take that much, I did it at Sainsbury's and it charged about £3 (which I think was donated to charity). Better than spending a couple of hours counting grimy coppers and lugging them to the bank.
 Share this content via...
SB Cleaning 10 #6 Posted March 2, 2010 Morrisons in Hillsborough has a machine as well. They issue you with a credit note you can spent in the shop. Good way to cut down on food budget, I'd say. I am not sure if they charge you anything though.
 Share this content via...
